Today Dumbfounded, Jay Park, and Clara C released their original collaboration called Clouds. I’m sure a lot of us were looking forward to it. Well here it is now.. And boy was I blown away by the lyrics. Dumbfoundead is one heck of a composer! Awesome feel good song + wonderful wonderful lyrics.

But as I was listening to the track (it’s on repeat LOLLL) I realized how the lyrics are so apt with the whole thing that happened.. I listened to it and did my own transcription so I may have some parts wrong.. but take a look at tell me what you think

I can’t get over this song. Infact I actually have it on replay. One Way’s a new korean band from YJ Entertainment. I’m not familiar with their entertainment company but I do know the boys themselves. Members include Chance, Youngsky, and Peter. They mostly do RnB and  I guess I can hear some hiphop in their music. My favorite part of this song would be this:

This group is amazing. I can’t wait to hear more. They just recently released their first mini album and I heard the tracks. Magic’s quite good too but its just this song that really has my heart.

A Korean Fan’s Perspective (2PM Conference)

2ONEDAY sent an invitation to the representatives of the fancafes to write their account and to write a message to address international fans. Hengdong Cafe is one of the fancafes that immidiately responded, for which 2ONEDAY is very thankful for.

The purpose of this message is not to impose their views on to international fans, but rather to ask for a simple understanding and to see the situation from their point of view. Please consider what they experienced and realize that they had every reason to feel the way they do.

“I have heard that the international fans are bashing the Korean fans. I tried to ignore it at first but I think as time goes on, the severity is getting grave.

What I’m writing… Please help us in making them understand. I know it must be hard but please help. I am sorry.

I think that they are going too far. The rage amongst the Korean fans are so great that it is hard to even control it, but to think that we have to even help the international fans understand now?…

I told you that I attended the conference. I did not ever think that anyone would look upon the fans as the attackers. However, I have listened to the voice recordings and I do think I can understand somewhat why the international fans are reacting this way.

Now, let’s think about it. The 2PM boys spoke through a mic. The fans did not have a mic except when given one to ask a question. So for example, when Chansung compared Jaebum to a thief and the fans spoke amongst themselves saying, “Jaebum is a thief?” there is no way that Chansung could have heard them, given the location and volume of voice. We would have had to spoken loudly and clearly in order for that to be heard because the fans did not have any mics. Through the recording, the international fans might have thought that we raised our voices. However, the fans have never treated the 2PM members with disrespect.

Another thing is that the 2PM members are all in their early 20’s. The people that attended the conference were all older than them. Especially the bigger community admins, they were all in their mid to late 30’s. Even if we were to meet them as human to human, those in their 20’s should have definitely kept their respect. That is Korean culture. However, what the 2PM members stated at the conference does not fall in line with the norm of Korean society. But did the fans treat 2PM with disrespect because of their age? No… where did you ever see that?

And are these fans Jaebum’s personal fans? The people that attended the conference are people that JYPE has chosen themselves. You can think of it as only the people that JYPE thought fit to be in the conference were present. Why are international fans accusing us of ‘going for a fan meeting,’ or ‘Why are Jaebum’s personal fans making it harder for the rest of our 2PM oppas?’

Then are the international representatives also in the same league as us?

I’m having a hard time understanding why the fans must be the bad boys here. I understand that you would want to reject reality. You must realize, though, that Jaebum and JYPE are now two separate entities. Please, let’s not rip at each other anymore.

Those in Korea will calm down the fans filled with rage and anger in Korea. But for those in the international, please don’t do that. I don’t understand why fans must fight amongst each other. This is not going to help any of the 7 members. It’s not nice to see such images for fans in Korea or for international fans.

Let’s just calm ourselves down.

I will apologize for what I have to say next but I feel that it must be said.

Koreans are the only people that best understand the Korean language. The message is sent more clearly to those that sit in front of one another while seeing their faces than just through the ears or through words.

Please, stop looking at the situation as only how you want to.

Please, don’t bash the translators. They are volunteering their time to help you better understand. And as Koreans, they are the ones that know best the meaning behind 2PM’s words. Even if you study the same word, the translated meaning between a foreigner that studies Korean and a Korean is vastly different.

Just trust the translators. They know what the intentions are and they know what the situation is. They understanding everything in their translations.

If you really love the 6 members of 2PM, please express that when they release their next album in April.

I hope that all of this ends – yesterday’s friend becoming today’s enemy.

this answers all the questions and misgivings that i had. i wondered why despite hearing all the sides, i couldnt fully still support the remaining members.. this explains everything. don’t get me wrong im not a hater or an anti, i just chose to leave. i dont care if you say im not a true fan. who is a fan really? its just someone who supports someone’s music or movies or dramas because they are entertained.i can no longer feel that so yeah i feel its time i relinquished my hold and save myself from more disturbances.

The die has been cast. You have made your decision. Be a man and take it like a man. Tears are useless. You may have conveyed your emotions but I no longer care. All your stories make me think, make me question their validity. You have presented your story today. And as I sit here in front of my desk, I think critically analyzing every news that hits me. How real were you? How much truth lies in your words? So I cannot hate but I will withdraw from anything concerning you.

No I do not want him to go back to your arms where you once vowed to be together, bounded by brotherhood. I may not know the whole story, or I may not even know ANY story for lies and deceit may have been woven around us, but I do know that I want him away from you. Everyday in this place has been a struggle since all the things started happening. Reading about them, watching their videos, listening to their music no longer entertains me. So tell me, do you think I should stay and force myself to do so?

the whole JAY thing

i’ve just been reading posts in soompi and in all these other forums about the whole jay situation. i’d just want to say that i simply want to lend my support to the fans that are boycotting. it’s not because all i want is for jay to be back in 2pm.. from all the reports that i’ve been reading, all the infos and rumors and i’ve seen, it is very possible that JYPE is forcing jay to quit.. for someone who says its completely false then show proof, complete and absolute proof and i’ll bow down to you. of course i respect jay’s decisions whatever those would be but i would appreciate it if those decisions where because he wanted to do so and not because he was ‘coerced’ to. if there is a possibility that JYPE is pressuring jay to quit, then I for one would like to show them how much we want jay back in the limelight. i am not against jay becoming a solo artist, in fact before this whole get back to 2pm jay thing started, i thought he would make a great solo artist. he can dance really well, sing, and he’s really good in variety shows so it’s not a problem.

i respect whatever the other fans decide to do. i understand if they don’t want to join the boycott and all these other things. that’s not a problem. but i ask for you to also understand why other fans are joining in the movement. just as we have respected you, we ask for you to respect us back. we are giving this our one last shot. at least we are showing JYPE that we want jay back and its up to the company to decide.. fans have the power. we make them famous. we make and break them. that’s a fact. and because of this, we want JYPE to know jay is loved and wanted.

if jay doesn’t want to come back then its okay. its his life. as long as jype already knows how we feel. as long as jay is given the chance to decide.. then that’s all i want.

this is simply my opinion. these are the reasons why i support the movement. you have your own opinion too. you dont see me bashing or sneering down on you so please show the same respect.
